Monarch 61 Project: No More Secrets Garden

  • Arts On Main 415 Main Street Van Buren, AR (map)

Monarch 61 brings the strength of art and the narratives of survivors in a visually captivating exhibit for the inaugural survivor/artist collaborative showcase. The No More Secrets Garden display is a unique art exhibition providing a stage for courageous individuals to share their journey and triumph over adversity.

13 artists and 13 survivors collaborated to tell a unique story of survival, resilience, and restoration. Featuring original artworks across a variety of disciplines, the No More Secrets Garden exhibition combines art and personal narrative to educate, inspire, and empower. Each piece of art is paired with a survivor's story, offering a unique perspective of healing. Artists and survivors were chosen because of a personal connection to the key issues being highlighted: domestic violence and sexual violence.

Join us in celebrating each survivor's resilience and courage and let this exhibit be a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is beauty, strength, and hope waiting to be unveiled.

Download the PDF of the No More Secrets Garden Program and take some time to review the artist biographies and survivor statements. Additionally, you are welcome to pick up a copy of the program in the Arts On Main lobby.

On view October 11 to December 18, 2024.
